What does Wildgrain mean by "clean ingredients"?Updated 14 days ago
While there is no FDA definition for “clean", our definition of “clean ingredients” at Wildgrain includes:
- Ingredients you can pronounce
- Ingredients you can find at a grocery store if you were making the item yourself
- No preservatives
- No artificial colors or flavors
- No bleached flour
- Organic ingredients when possible
- Local and seasonal ingredients when possible
We also provide sub-ingredients in our ingredient lists (which is not required by the FDA) to help people who have more uncommon allergies to sub-ingredients identify whether they can safely enjoy Wildgrain products.
