What does Wildgrain mean by "clean ingredients"?Updated a year ago

While there is no FDA definition for “clean", our definition of “clean ingredients” at Wildgrain includes:

  • Ingredients you can pronounce
  • Ingredients you can find at a grocery store if you were making the item yourself
  • No preservatives
  • No artificial colors or flavors
  • No bleached flour
  • Organic ingredients when possible
  • Local and seasonal ingredients when possible

We also provide sub-ingredients in our ingredient lists (which is not required by the FDA) to help people who have more uncommon allergies to sub-ingredients identify whether they can safely enjoy Wildgrain products.
