How should I dispose of the dry ice in my Wildgrain Box?Updated 16 days ago
WARNING: Dry ice can cause severe injury if touched without proper insulated protection and can be fatal if swallowed.
Because dry ice may still be present when your box arrives, use thick, insulated gloves (or dry oven mitts) or a dry, heavy towel when unpacking your order to prevent injury. Dry ice is packed in open bags to allow it to sublimate (turn directly from solid to gas).
If any remains, handle it with thick, insulated gloves or a heavy towel and place it in a well-ventilated area, ideally outside, to let it fully sublimate. Avoid placing it on surfaces that could crack or be damaged by extreme cold. Once the dry ice has fully evaporated, you can dispose of the remaining plastic bags in the trash.
