Should I refreeze products that arrive thawed?Updated 6 months ago

Your Wildgrain Box products do not need to arrive fully frozen.

If the products in your box are thawed upon arrival, it’s okay as long as the products containing egg and/or dairy feel cold to the touch (as if refrigerated). 

For products containing egg and/or dairy: In accordance with USDA guidelines, the products containing egg and/or dairy don’t need to arrive frozen, but they do need to feel cold to the touch. If they don’t feel cold to the touch, please email Member Support at [email protected] so we can help!

For products that don't contain egg and/or dairy (e.g. breads): They're all set to be put in your freezer, even if they didn't arrive feeling cold.

We’ve tested refreezing thawed products and haven’t seen any quality loss (e.g. thawed Croissants will still puff up as they should in the oven). But if you experience a decrease in quality, please email Member Support at [email protected] so we can make the situation right with a refund or replacement.
